 I don't think they work too well at 24v, I use asmall generator and 240/28v psu regards mike G6TRM

Thanks for the sage advice, rather than a generator presumably these PE1RKI linears 28v PA's will work ok with 2 x leisure batteries in series at say, 25 dropping to 24v after a while. Less o/p than

I too use the sg labs transverter .. it is excellent particularly if youseparate the transmit and receive inputs (no noisy pin diodes) The output isonly 2W and 3.5 needed to drive the 250W P.A. Hope
