Re: GB3SEE
Sorry your right I hadn't even looked at the frequency was just surprised to see SCX as not normally seen on the site, we're as SEE is normally very strong. So conditions must of been up this morning.

Re: GB3SEE
Hi John,
That looks like GB3SCX and GB3CCX on the screen grab.
Sorry to question this, but I'm still working on the SDR and can't see anything obviously wrong.
Are you sure you saw GB3SEE ?

Re: GB3SEE [1 Attachment]
Are you sure this shows GB3SEE? I can see GB3SCX on 905, the other signal looks likely to be GB3PKT, currently on around 943 rather than its usual 945. GB3SEE should be on 850.

Thanks John, that's very useful! Still strange that neither were visible yesterday, or are now.

It was this morning Phil as I grab a screenshot of both SCX and SEE this morning from the farnham SDR site. But not able to check directly at the moment.

GB3SEE
Hi All,
Can someone just confirm for me that GB3SEE is still operational?
We're not picking it up on the Farnham WebSDR and haven't been able to find any obvious faults at our end.
Regards,

Off topic, but.........
Does anyone know whether the GB3ANG beacon on 2m is likely to be back on air in the forseeable future? Missing it dreadfully.

I note Andy's frustration with Reversed Polarity SMAs, BUT never one to miss an opportunity
:-))........... I expect to attend at the Crawley RT and should by that time have a few adapters from RP to

I've just opened it up again and removed the pad.
R values were 64 ohms shunt and 150 ohms series,

Looking at that photo again- http://www.g4jnt.com/DropF/imgp7161.JPG there is a pi attenuator network on the input - resistor values not shown. Could well be worth reopening and measuring, see if

That was the same mod I did, I simply swapped over the SMA connector was hardly any effort at all.
Hmmm 100mW let me have a think......

The SiGe spec sheet indicates 34 dBm at 1db comp point so combined in this amp a single carrier of 4 watts is likely
Looks interesting and cost effective way of increasing a DB6NT 5.7 GHz

Continuing this thread.
My 5.8Ghz "Booster" arrived today on the long boat from China. Rather than faff about trying to find or make a pair of reversed SMA adaptors, I just removed the lid
