Re: really?
Hi all,
It would be great to have a multiplier that /P stations can use, unfortunately its not just a case of wandering into the shack and pressing the go button to establish a station up on a hill.

Re: Waveguide switch
Hi John,
Im sure they were in equipment I used to work on years ago, made by SIAE.
Might be a "C" number on the PCB or metal that would help identify it..
In the equipment I saw it in, it was used

Hopefully someone locally does, but as a backup plan I have Male, Female, and Sexless versions out of old HP Spar test sets. Kent

Chassis mount (bulkhead) APC7 (7 mm) or APC7 to waveguide
I'm looking for a chassis mount APC7 connector. Something like
https://www.surplussales.com/Connectors/APC.html
but I am not paying their asking price. Or does anyone have an APC7 to waveguide

Re: Waveguide switch
Yep.....done some prodding around on the switch and the feedthrough from the PCB in to the body of the switch seems to have back to back diodes to ground and applying either + or - 0.7V to the feed

Re: Waveguide switch
I would think, purely based on "seat of the pants" hunches that with an isolator of that sort of size, it would be intended to work at the "couple of watts" level. I agree, it is likely to be a PIN

Hello Microwavers of the world
Attached are two photos of a wr42 waveguide switch with attached isolator I've very kindly been given.
Look carefully at the close up and you'll see that the guide has

Re: Airscout - OpenSky fault
If anyone is interested. OpenSky is back up and running this Sunday morning.
Looking at my uploads to the system, something was reset between 07.00 – 07.20 utc this morning.
I haven’t checked

Re: Ailtech 7618EL 3mm connector.
The data I have says 18GHz and 3mm male see attached, the 7618E (15dB ENR) has a precision SMA male. The data differentiates the SMA and 3mm male quite clearly.

Fw: [UKMicrowaves] Ailtech 7618EL 3mm connector.
Hi Conrad,
That it is one of the best, probably the best !
I use this type of adapter for my NF measurements.

Re: Ailtech 7618EL 3mm connector.
Hello,
What is the max frequency of the 7618EL ?
I saw a 7618 with a maximum frequency of 18 Ghz, the connector is SMA
Let say if the EL version has a max frequency

Ailtech 7618EL 3mm connector.
I am expecting the delivery of an Ailtech 7618EL noise source early next week. It is a nominal 6dB ENR source, and the datasheet lists the output connector as a 3mm male. Is this likely to be a 2.92mm
