Re: Low volume PCB manufacture
I use Eagle with a cloud subscription which gets me a free copy of Fusion360. Paying for decent software is sometimes less painful than trying to force my brain to use stuff designed by coders. Or

Re: GB3SEE Beacon
Ok thanks it's cooling down now so I'll keep listening. With such a strong stable signal it was a nice backdrop to my display.
Just wish I could hear it at home in IO71XW : )

Clive
Yes GB3SEE still has a heat problem when the temp on site gets to 20 degrees it goes low power
It may well come back on this afternoon as it has become cloudy this afternoon

Re: Low volume PCB manufacture
I use EasyPC from Number One systems. But only because I have a copy.
I think the favourites amongst amateurs are Kicad or Eagle - although I haven't heard much about the latter

There’s been a lot of back and forth lately regarding selling test equipment on the HPAK group as that is not its main purpose. There is, however,

I bought one of these boards and based on the supplied description fed a suitable voltage the the LDO reg. Yes, it gets warm with too much overhead, but easily solved with a 2A 7805. And it works
