Re: G4BAO 23cm and 70cm driver boards
Just done a physical check and I have three 70cm kits and three 23cm kits left in stock with LDMOS devices in them.
Obviously I can move the devices between kits if there is demand for a particular

G4BAO 23cm and 70cm driver boards
Seems that the RF devices are out of stock at all UK suppliers until at least July so I'm down to the last 2 or 3 of each kit for now.
I'm looking for alternative suppliers/devices so watch this

Re: Low Microwave Bands contest Sunday 11 April
Phil,
looking at that square it seems that Newlands Corner would be the highest spot but maybe you have a more secluded spot to operate from.
If I can sort out a 13cm antenna tomorrow I may try to

Look forward to working you on 23cm Phil and 13cm (but pump up mast stopped working) - dish should be available at a low height as winds forecast to be light.
Not allowed outside local

Re: ALC Overrun
Damage to the transverter isn't the only problem with using a rig with the ALC working very hard. You need to get someone to check your signal for splatter, or better still use a spectrum analyser if

Well done Chris and Roger. That is going to be hard to beat at least until the humidity drops again to the levels seen this week. We should also keep tabs on the best UK DX achieved by the VK systems

Use a 50 ohm resistor as a load and connect a diode detector across it. A 1N914 etc will suffice . Transmit from your rig into that and use the scope to monitor the diode voltage. That should
