50mW eh, sounds like it was a good idea that when I checked the output freq
range I fed it through a 20dB attenuator. (My pre-scaler is only rated for

I doubt we have a manual, but I remember buying a new 86245 nearly
20yrs ago from HP for satcomms work - they are a bit special...
If its anwhere near original spec it will give a guaranteed

Yes there was some debate about that. But on the other hand if he had used
all vacuum devices - it wouldn't be a clock - it would be a cabin heater!

£67 + VAT is outrageous. If you wanted a 60KHz crystal it would be less than
£10.
We had this problem a few years ago and Mike Scott designed a trf receiver
using several TOKO tuned
