Hello Ed.
I have just done a clean intall of WSJT-X v1.8.0 rc3 and the CAT works perfectly either with OMNIRIG which allows sharing with another application or directly.

Any FPGA /PLA experts for a simple project ?
I sometimes use broadband pseudo noise (PN) as a test signal, for alligning filters amongst other things. See for example http://www.g4jnt.com/DropF/imgj6952.JPG showing a 3.4GHz filter response,

Ed
Plenty of videos on you tube on how to set up the 7300 menus for data modes....all you need is the USB cable no external signalink type interface required.

I'll have a look at this over the weekend but for a start in the C-IV settings try with link to remote active. I did have it working but I have not used it for some time.

Re: WSJT-X and the IC7300
You may have to use a virtual com port
I had a similar problem and that got it working

WSJT-X and the IC7300
With the increased interest in digital modes I am motivated to try to get my 23cms system working on digital. However, a problem: how do I get the IC7300 to work with WSJT-X. I downloaded the latest

All the WSJT-X modes (except for ISCAT), have the same message compression.
Compressed messages are designed to carry two callsigns plus some extra info. There is also the option of a 13

Re: DIGIFEST!
Hi Martin
I think Andy is best placed to advise which modes have a suitably flexible message structure. I’m also struggling to keep up but like YOTA I can confirm it’s awakened an interest

Re: Tuning Screws
The jury has returned. Picked up the RS order and replaced the resonators in the 3.4GHz evanescent filter, that had been made from tatty brass studding, with shiny new nickel plated tuning screws.

If the weather is not too bad and it doesn’t look like I’ll get stuck in the mud I will set up the 24GHz loan gear at Burwood Farm just above Guildford:
G4SJH/P.
Loc: IO91RF65
Time: From around

Hi John and all
I welcome this initiative and plan to be around next Wednesday.
I’m an old timer at meteor scatter and EME but things have moved on and left me behind somewhat. WSJT-X is new

I was originally planning on going out on 24GHz this Sunday, but didn't realise it clashed with the JOTA station I'm running this weekend - trying to get some more young folks interested in our great

Looks like I'll be lonely again. I'll be QRV on 24GHz from home. If anyone is around I'll have the 76GHz kit and could take it out or loan it to someone. Contact me off reflector to make

I was planning to go out for the 24GHz section but this will depend on the weather and activity from other operators.

Re: Pluto SRD and GNURadio - help!
You can use SDR# with it on Windows.
I managed to get it to work on ubuntu using pybombs. I don't quite remember how, but this was compiled from source so maybe try that?
