In Cleator the policemen go round in pairs.... Why, Mike, are they afraid of the ferocious sheep there? The only other
place I know where they do that is central Liverpool and that's 50 years ago! I
take it, therefore, that you either know west Cumbria well, or are an "exiled"
(voluntary, or deported!) Cumbrian, why else would you know Cleator? (maybe
there's only one more isolated spot on that coast, and that's Millom!).

It must be very difficult for you to maintain interest in microwaves
because you really are on the wrong side of the Lake District massif, as well as
the North Pennines. It was difficult enough on VHF from the Southern

If I get up your way (rarely), I'll let you know. Seascale I know well and
Cleator Moor... it's a small world isn't it?!

Just looked at the data sheet.
If you do a bulk buy I'm interested in a few to keep on the
shelf.
They cover 1.8 to
2.5GHz.

You can only buy in multiples of 10 from the web site, and even the UK distributer recommends going direct for small quantities. It costs them more than it is worth to process small orders. Peter
