Re: Ball Efratom Rb freq reference
KENT BRITAIN
I had a similar issue with a precision 5 MHz soruce. I split the 5 MHz, ran it into two ports of a mixer, filtered the output and added a MMIC amp. Mixed the 5 MHz with the 5 MHz! Kent

hi, Yesterday a fellow OM and yours truly acquired this one. Dual Rb, GPSDO. Old but appears to be working just dandy. Alas: 5MHz output. Getting there ...
Robin Szemeti - G1YFG
Another step in the 10GHz puzzle solved ... a pair of Kuhne preamps. The SMA one will go in the 22W SSPA version, SMA relay, possible EME use, but focussed on hilltop use ... The WG one will go with the big TWT/WG relay/2.4m dish for EME. I've managed to acquire an ex military (Skynet system) 2.4m dish, complete with a tripod base and full mill spec motorised az/el mount ... I'm told it has a few metres of flexible waveguide, which shuodl make hooking it up to the TWT somewhat easier. -- Best regards, -- Robin Szemeti - G1YFG

OZ5SHF back
Ole OZ2OE
The OZ5SHF beacon system is back "On Air" after repair and adjustment. As we no longer have access to the 2300-2400 MHz part of 13 cm in OZ, the old 13 cm frequency has been changed to 2400,900 MHz. Other frequencies are unchanged: 1296,900 MHz, 3400,900 MHz, 5760,900 MHz, 10368,900 MHz and 24048,900 MHz.

You could try the sample service at AVX, You might be better to choose 2 x 1.5kv caps in series, which are easier to find.

GB3MHZ 13 cm beacon
It has been a while that the 2320.830MHz GB3MHZ beacon vanished due to problems.
Is there any expectancy that the beacon will return? It is a nice condx indicator for 13cm. Though condx have been poor the past year I managed to receive the 9cm beacon not so consistent as I did with the 23cm (always audible) and the 13 cm beacon. Hopefully in spring I can put up the 10GHz and 5.76GHz transverters. 24GHz is planned too.

I've never minded paying ... just being able to actually get them is a blessing! Mouser list some of those at over £40 each though, I assume it is for some valve-based project if it neds the high DC voltages.

Conrad, PA5Y
Hello where can I get ATC 700E caps from? Or should I say AVX 700E series? I need 2 x 12pF F tolerance, 2 x 8.2PF B tolerance and 3 x 24pF F tolerance. These do not appear to be stock items at Mouser.
