Well, the ZME keying might be a give away John but the f difference is probably the error in the ADF oscillator and the RSP2 set.

cheers, Ben.

Thanks Andy. In fact, I can just see ZME, coming in and out of the noise but weaker than it is on 9.

Is ZME running on 6? only I can get both OHM and ZME on 9 whilst pointing at OHM but I cannot see a peep out of ZME on 6 in the same direction. My window faces East towards B'ham, Telford is through the house, direction-wise.

Re: MRFE6S9160HS PCB or whatever wanted

Jon Eyre

DF9IC has the PCBs for sale and so does G4DBN I think. They sell the 2 device board, you just cut in half. G4DBN also sells the heat spreader.

Sent from Jon's mobile.

I've found designs by DF9IC, but not sure how to make the PCB.

Does anyone either have links to PCB's for sale using that transistor or have something suitable for sale.

Or indeed anything that will help me on the way up from  the10 to 40 watts I currently have @ 23cm's.

Thanks

Re: MRFE6S9160HS PCB or whatever wanted

Hi Nick,

I have built 4 PA's with 2 x that MRFE.
All did > 250W.
Still 1 set of PCB's lying around here, originating from designer. You can have it for free.
Also some FETs left.

Re: Activity List for the UK Microwave Group mm-wave Contest Sunday 16th May

With the weather looking bad - rain all day, and storms in the afternoon. We have reluctantly decided against making the journey to Hackpen & Combe Gibbet.
So will not be on for the contest.

Re: 6Cms, a start.

Alan Beard

Hi,

Can I ask why nobody with the bi-quad design doesn't space the diamonds further apart
so as to get to the optimum 0.7wl spacing?

All it needs is two wires using the same wire as the diamond, parallel for that extra length.
