Same problem with Virgin Media ISP, same fix, set DNS to 8.8.8.8

Just exactly what am I doing when I set my DNS to do this?

I think I'm looking for an explanation of DNS here!

Noel  - what are you using to view/access?

 

There is a known issue re iPads but PCs (Chrome etc) should be better...

 

 - and I am on BTinternet too (where I think the BT DNS has an issue and can be really sluggish with some of the ad/image servers rather than Yahoo itself)
