Dear Group,
All this talk about GPS units and the high stability 10MHz source they
provide made me think about what I've got.
I use an Halcyon OFS-1 which can be switched to receive an off air
signal on 198kHz or 162kHz and produces outputs on 1, 5 & 10MHz.
I know it depends on the quality of the signal on 198 or 162kHz, but how
good is it compared to a GPS disciplined source?
Should I move to a GPS or Rubidium source? both seem about the same
price.
