OK, Friday the 13th, the next scheduled game night is my wife's birthday.
So.........

Who can make it to a game THIS friday the 6th ?
Or, should we push it out to the 20th ?

Remember that the 27th is the next scheduled game night.

John Buck

I have plans this Weekend.  Derrek and I won’t be able to make it on the 20th if something is planned.

I have the 27th on the calendar and plan on being there.  (I could also make the 13th if we decide to do something.)

Mark,

It looks like the Hessians, Wurttembergers, and Baden troops were all
in Massena's Corp. Mostly Cavalry and a couple small infantry
regiments. So I can mark you down as having them all covered?

French Carabiniers: We need 5 3-figure bases for the Reserve Cav
Corps, 1st Division. Do you have that many?

Austrian Kuirassiers: I am short 12 3-figure bases of Kuirassiers. Do
you have that many?

Austrian other Cav: How many bases do each of your Austrian cav units
have? We'll probably need them all, plus more.

At present, we appear to be very short of Austrian Infantry and French
Cavalry. We will also need a bunch more mounted officers and aides.

Guys,

There are only two months left until the Aspern-Essling game day (May
9th).

I'm going to post the OB's on the bulletin board in the game room and
mark off the units that we have accounted for. I already did that for
the troops I can provide.

As you all report in with what you can provide, I'll add your notes
and then we'll see what's left. Hopefully there won't be a lot left
to do and we'll be able to bang them out before the deadline.

My suspicion is that we'll be short of French cavalry mostly. But
there will also be a smattering of other stuff I'm sure.

So, I ask that those of you who can contribute figures to the game
send me an inventory of your 15mm Nappy Austrians, French, and minor
French allies as soon as you can so I can tally up the totals.

If you don't have ANY Nap troops and still want to play, that's OK
too.

I think we can assume there are about 10 large commands but if we
have more interested players we can easily break some of the larger
Corps down.

I'll also move the Imperial Lances OB's for the battle over from that
Yahoo group so you can get another copy if you misplaced the ones I
passed out before.

We haven't played Age of Eagles yet.
What I meant was that the group has played Fire & Fury, And Age of Eagles is based off that rule set so the group should be relatively familiar with the game mechanics.

In any event, I will NOT be re-basing again so whichever rule set
we
settle on will have to either be playable with any basing system,
or
with someone else's figures that are based for the game.

So what do you guys think of this proposal?
