I meant to respond to this earlier in the week, but time got away from me. Here's just a couple of comments based on my "extensive" 1 - game experience with these rules :-)
For # 3 - I agree with having a limbered move for artillery & the unlimber cost looks good as does the guns not getting the special rules when limbered. My understanding of artillery movement during this period though was that much of it was done by non-combatant/civilian teamsters, and once the guns were unlimbered they would withdraw from the field until after the battle. I suggest that guns can start limbered, but once unlimbered and shots are fired they have to resort to prolonging by the crews at the standard rate given.
For # 5 - Just to add a little variety without being too over the top, for 1-1 roll 1d6 and on a 1-2 fall back 1/2 move, on a 3-5 the unit receives 1 Disorder, and on a 6 the unit falls back 1/2 move & receives 1 disorder. For a 6 - 6, remove 1 disorder from any unit (inclusive) within 6" of the unit activating OR the next activation automatically passes if there are no disorders to remove (could also be limited to within 6" of the unit).
Just my 2 cents...
Playing this game got me looking at Pikeman's Lament...might need to tinker with it...

I have painting extra units that we will add to the game: 2 Units of Continental Dragoons, 4 Units of Hessian Jaegers (Sharpshooters) and I will put on the table the Continental Riflemen (about 4 units of Sharshooters) This time, players will build their own armies with what I have (over 100 pts a side). Darth Vader passes
Nostalgia note....... The actor who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars and a few later ones, has passed away age 85 yrs. There is a photo of him with the 2 actors who played the robots, C3PO and R2D2 - all gone now. Two items related to David Prowse... He was originally offered a choice of either Darth Vader or Chewbacca (Prowse was a champion body builder, 6 ft 6 inch tall - buddies with Arnold the Terminator and Lou the Green Hulk). He chose Vader because "people always remember the bad guy!) (BTW James Earl Jones actually voiced the part) He preferred to be remembered as a faux superhero who appeared in public safety commercials in the UK called the Green Cross Code (pedestrian safety aimed at kids). JC -- JC "Sophisticated, charming and humble" - all down to his club shirt!

Rebels and Patriots Game Help
Team, I have downloaded the Official QRS from Osprey and I have compiled the list of troops for the AWI. Both are attached to the email I hope a lot of you can come, I have enough miniatures for at least 8 players I will build a 24 pts company per player with a minimum of 12 pts for Line Infantry.
