Great old school link
I found a real good web site that has PDF'f of the majority of Don Featherstone's Wargamers Newsletters from the 60's and 70's.
Some nostalgic reading.
Hit the link, scroll down a bit and take a peek.

Re: Borodino Russians
When the troops are done I will then build the battlefield. I use the Age of Eagles rule set.

Re: Borodino Russians
Wow. Then I’m even more impressed with the paint jobs.
Quite an ambitious project.
We did Borodino a few years ago and needed at least half a dozen of us to contribute troops.

Re: Borodino Russians
They look pretty good.
They look like 25/28mm ??
I like the way the 28's look but I have too many 15mm Nap's now to start another scale in that period.

Re: Historicon 2021
Yeah that drive from BWI is awful. Cold Wars 2008 it took me almost five and a half hours to get to Lancaster.

Re: Done!
Nope 15mm's 100mm frontage (4') depth as needed, generally 25mm 40mm 60mm and 80mm.

Re: Historicon 2021
They're about the same distance time wise. The only issue is that traffic around Baltimore sucks depending on the day and time. I would suggest that pricing would be the factor.
Sent from my Verizon,

Re: Done!
Out of curiosity what rules are you basing those for? I like the large stand idea.
Are those 6mm?

Re: Historicon 2021
We can check flights etc.
But Baltimore traffic really sucks and Philadelphia is a pretty straight shot to get out of the city.
We also flew in and out of Harrisburg once.
That was super easy.
