Hello all,

I just discovered this group and am interested in learning more about it.  I live in NE Mesa.  I have been a table top war gamer since the mid 90’s and an rpg player since the early 80’s.  I have mostly played sci-fi/fantasy games but have been adding more historical alt history games.  I really enjoy the painting and gaming aspects of the hobby and for the last few years have moved to playing fully painted.  I have SAGA and Blood and Plunder forces as historical light gaming.  I have a copy of black powder second edition.

Re: Greetings

Jeff,
Sorry to hear that.
I don’t remember you mentioning running a game but I may have missed it.
And I was hosting a game when you had your garage sale or I would have come.

There is a game being run by Rolland on the 17th here.
So I won’t be able to make it down there this time either.
Hopefully the game schedules will someday mesh.

If you don’t get enough players for your game and would like to come up here on the 17th you’re welcome to come play and meet a few more of the guys.

Good to meet you, David.  I joined the group two years ago, although sadly have not been able to join in recently due to COVID (my wife is high risk category and wasn't taking any chances).  But we are both now fully vaccinated so hope to see this gang again later in the month.  It's a really good group.

I think I kind of introduced the group to Black Powder as it is one of my favorite horse and musket rules.  I hope to do more BP games if you are interested in trying out those rules.

Bob is right; among the members we probably have most periods covered, so there is plenty of historical gaming to pique your interest and occasionally some new stuff to try out.
