Hi Spencer,

We have a couple of ex-Michiganders in the club. Myself included. You can generally tell who is from Michigan since we tend to be the smartest and best looking.

Our next scheduled game is on Saturday the 20th.  I think Michael said he’s running a War of 1812 game using the Black Powder rules.

You’ll be able to check the details on the calendar once he posts them.

And that’s another thing for all the rest of you;  You can subscribe to the calendar on your smart phones and never miss a game again.  There’s a link just below the calendar.

Tweezer tool with LED light for board wargames

Last Saturday several of us were talking about board wargaming and I mentioned a set of tweezers that are excellent for board gamers, and that I use.  The tool allows you to pick up counters, and it has a build in LED light that shines right where you put the tweezers.  It puts the light right on the counter which is a help for those of use who don't see as well as we used to....ok, old guys.   If you're interested, here's the Amazon link to the tool.

They have names embroidered on them so they need to be specifically ordered.

I can certainly put together another order if others want one now that you’ve seen how sexy they make the wearers look.

I met Tim Greene at SYW Convention in South Bend 2 or 3 years ago
His painted SYW Russians were very well painted (and kicked my Prussian army butt)
