I don't see the missile troops as too powerful. It's really about the dice. A hot hand and they are powerful. A cold hand and they are worthless.

Lion Rampant tournament - missile fire

There has been some discussion about missile fire in LR as being too powerful and dominating the game.  I agree with this assertion.  Do we want to make any changes to the permitted army composition for the coming tournament?  Limiting missile units to 1 per retinue has been suggested.

For what it's worth, I have the following :
1. Table Top talk and The Miniatures Parade Magazines from the 60's
2. 80's Courier Magazines
3.Miniature Wargames from #4 through 200 something plus special editions
4. War Games Illustrated from#3 through200 something -plus special editions
5.Numerous Military History, Colonial Conquest, Age of Napoleon, Wargames Digest, Opeji ( Russian written in Cyrillic )and other odds and ends.
If anyone in the group wants to to borrow, copy,  peruse, etc let me know.

They are Ed’s home-grown colonial rules.  Still somewhat of a work in progress.
