Last night's game
Bob Rodgers <TinDictator@...>
Thanks Al for putting on a great Austro-Prussian game.
I enjoyed it very much. I’d never played those rules and I think they work pretty well. Next time maybe we can try a little Franco-Prussian mayhem? Thanks again. Bob

All - I have played Tactica, Might of Arms and Hail Caesar for Ancients and would play any of these rule sets. I have quite a few 15mm armies (all based 40mm frontage per stand):

What do you have for 15mm ancients and what are your favorite rules?
Are you interested in a large ancients battle on club game night?
I have: (based on WRG/DBX standard)
Minoan/Homeric Greek Chariot
Republican Roman
Carthaginian with Gauls
Patrician Roman with Goths
Willing to try any rules.

I like Might of Arms or Hail Caesar. Both are fairly easy to learn and play well. I have Carthaginians, Sea Peoples, medieval Russians and Italian rennesaince in 15mm. The French side has decided that they were going to fortify and hold their side of the Danube.
And, the Austrian side also decided that they were going to fortify and hold their side of the Danube.
Both sides decided that they were not going to attempt to force crossings since the other side was too well fortified and could easily defend.
So, since no-one wanted to fight, the campaign was called a draw.
I also think some of the guys were just ready for a change from a year of Naps.
Failing any unforeseen emergencies, the next game in two weeks will be run by Al Revere.
So, prepare yourselves for an epic battle from the Austro-Prussian War.
Just think ..... long waxed mustaches and spiky helmets. Oh boy!
During that game we can all decide what we want to play next.

Hello all, I know many of you are on multiple gaming groups, so I apologize in advance for duplication. I am cleaning things out to make room for my new FOW stuff and I am getting rid of some projects. I wanted to give the local group a crack at them before I post them to TMP or eBay.
Everything is unpainted except where detailed, some stuff - especially Amercians have a base of Tan and some minor paint (flesh and some flak jackets) All models are Elheim Miniatures - the official distributor for the Force on Force company.
On the table I have 20mm (1/72 scale) Moderns: Taliban: 9) RPG-9 10) LMG 1) Mortar + 3 Crew 2) SDK sniper rifles 3) Technical trucks
