Re: Napoleonic Campaign ?

The Tin Dictator <TinDictator@...>

Well, I can't say the response has been overwhelming.
So far Dave, Rob, and John are the only ones interested.
And John will be a part-timer.

So, counting me, that's 3.5 players.
Ideally, I'd like a few more.
The armies and the theatre of war are fairly large.

I'll run a warm-up game on November 2nd.

Austrians vs French
Battle of Schmelling Fahrte, Bavaria - 1809

Game will start at noon.
Watch for the calendar announcements.
Try to come if you can.

We have enough troops. I have the OOB's and Maps.
We just need enough players to keep things moving.

I'm collecting Yays and Nays on the idea so speak up!

They are here in the Yahoo group Photos.

In the WWII Folder.

They are probably mixed in with the previous pictures so you might try sorting by date.

Here are a couple of Youtube videos from a crew that went through RinCon.
They focussed mainly on the vendors. But our banner was in the far background in a few shots.

Wanted to send you the links to the videos from the Convention. Overall they came out pretty good, they are unlisted at the moment but they will be public this evening after I post them to mozupro.com. Thanks for letting me come through, hopefully we can do it next year as well and I'll better prep to have more time to cover the Con.

Magazines

TinDictator@...

So.... a while back my magazine subscriptions seemed to be messed up so I complained. Since then I've been getting three copies of Wargames Illustrated each issue.

I'm not sure how long this will last but as long as it does I'll share the wealth.

I'll lay out the extras for you guys that show up to game days and you can help yourself.

The last issue also came with a Flames of War supplement for the Arab / Israeli War.

So if you're into Flames of War, there will be two copies up for grabs.

See you all on the 19th.

Last Saturday's Bolt Action Game

The Tin Dictator <TinDictator@...>

Saturday's Bolt Action Game was a decisive American victory over the Germans. I forgot to take any pictures. So, if you weren't there, you're out of luck.

Next game isn't until October 19th.
Because the 5th is during RinCon.

Last week's game pics

TinDictator@...

I just posted up 23 pictures from the last game day.

Battle of Ligny in 15mm.

The Yahoo group is still wonky but the pictures seem to be there.

Look in the photo album  "Battle of Ligny".

Next Saturday's game will be WWII - Somewhere in Normandy.

28mm Bolt Action

Dave R. will be the GM.

A last cry for games at RinCon

The Tin Dictator <TinDictator@...>

The deadline for getting games into the RinCon program is this coming weekend. A few of you said you would run games but seem to have forgotten. Check your schedules and come on out.

RinCon will be held October 4th-6th at the Holiday Inn in Tucson.
Its a multi-genre convention.
But, I'm interested in getting the Miniatures games scheduled.

Please go take a look at the web site, plan your game and register it soon.

We can take your game registrations after next weekend but they'll miss being in the program booklet.
That would be a shame. Very sad indeed.

Thanks.
