Re: Project Borodino

The Tin Dictator <TinDictator@...>

OK then....

I have the French Line Infantry covered. Plus extras.
I'm not counting the figures needed to fill the French formations that Rolland said he was doing.
But I have enough if necessary to do so.

I'm going to begin working on the French Imperial Guard.
I need some more Young Guard and the Cavalry to finish them off.

Otherwise, I need bunches of Frog Cavalry.
Who has French Cavalry?
I have some but we need to fill the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Cavalry Corps.
Particulary Chasseurs. We need 46 squadrons. I have 4.
And Cuirassiers. We need 40 squadrons. I have 18.

Rolland says he's doing the 4th Cavalry Corps.
So those numbers don't include them.

I have all the Portuguese, Spanish, Bavarians, Baden and Prussians covered.
John says he has the Poles covered.
Rolland says he has the Italians.

Saxons ???..................... Mark?
Wurttembergers ???....... Rolland and Mark?
Croats ???...................... ?
Russians ???.................. Dave R. and ?

David Rodgers <david.rodgers@...>

I will have the artillery and just about all of the Cossacks covered.  I will be short some cavalry and commanders/aides. Once the PhilGreg order is back it will come into shape nicely.

I also have 4 or 5 corp's of the infantry done and another 4 or 5 out to PhilGreg so I think we may be close..

When we showed this great little dioramic piece off on our website a few days ago we weren¡¯t prepared for the sheer level of excitement it would cause. Now you can get your hands on one.

This Medicus represents the cutting edge of Roman medical technology which sadly for his patient is on a par with your dad¡¯s tool box. By the time he¡¯s finished our brave legionary may well be wishing he¡¯d tried his luck with the Celts. All joking aside, the Medicus¡¯ role in the Roman army would see the life expectancy of men surpass that of women for the first time. This was largely thought to be down to the expertise of the Medicus on the field of battle.

Ideal as a great objective marker, diorama piece or even the ultimate casualty marker for Hail Caesar. It consists a Medicus, a legionary aiding his fallen colleague and what¡¯s left of a legionary. The Medicus¡¯ toolbox, instrument wrap and a wicker basket filled with towels, bandages, etc finish this scene off perfectly.

With the new Bolt Action Imperial Japanese Army boxed set being released in a week or so many of you have asked if we'll put together a deal so you can build a large IJA army quickly and cost effectively. Well, we couldn't say no, could we?

This offer provides you with 3 of our Imperial Japanese Boxed Sets (60 metal miniatures) for £70, saving you £5 on buying them separately.

Featuring the Warlord Games Figure Head System there is a lot of scope for variety and modeling in each box. We've also included a beautiful sheet of full colour flags and devotional banners to adorn the soldiers of the Emperor.

Each box set contains the following:

  • Command Section
  • MMG section
  • Knee Mortar
  • Rifleman Squad
  • Sheet of devotional rifle banners and full colour flags

Bob,

Thanks for the update.  I'll see you next week for some Pirate action.  Your house would be good and we can set up a treasure hunt scenario.  Once I know how many players, I will formalize the units.  Ideally we should only have six players or less.  The rules are Legend of the High Seas.  Thanks, Dave.

I just got confirmation that our figures arrived in Sri-Lanka.

Dear Bob,
Received your figures and the cheque.  Thank you very much.
Shall go through the figures and get back to you soon.
Best regards
Philip

If the order goes like the last three we should be getting them back around mid-November.

Bob

Warlord Miniatures on Sale

Plastic Fantastic!

With the recent public order troubles in the UK and the doom and gloom around the world at present we've decided we've had enough!

Plastic Fantastic! is a simple but effective offer – you buy 4 Warlord Games plastic boxed sets and you can then choose a fifth absolutely FREE!

Choose your four plastic boxed sets and then select a fifth box that will be sent to you free of charge! That should take your mind off things!

Note: Sadly the Starter Army Boxed sets are not available as your free plastic boxed set. Also this offer only applies to Warlord Plastic Boxed Sets and not to Perry Miniatures, Gripping Beast, Victrix, etc. No amount of pleading will change this, please don't humiliate yourself by begging, it's most unbecoming and not the way Warlord customers behave. You are better than that…
