FETs and Tek 1L5 plug-in 5 messages
from Tim P (UK) How reliable are the J-FETs (usually 151-1004-00) used in Tek plug-ins? Also, does it really matter which way round they are in the sockets? The manual shows Source, Gate & Drain, but

Is there a known failure mode when the high side of an SG504 goes dead? Reference and low are working as expected high is out to lunch. I have cleaned the switch and that does not seem to help.

Hi all, I have been accumulating TM500 modules and mainframes for a little while, so I recently finished building an 067-1201-99 TM500 mainframe tester from the Tek construction notes floating around.

Does anyone know where I can download a copy of a 3T77A (not 3T77) manual? Also, any idea as to what could cause this kind of mold/mildew on only the axial electrolytic caps, and no other components?

Does anyone know if Russians ever made a reaaaaaaaally long CRT to direct-view GHz signals? I have this notion in my mind but I have no idea if it's true or what.
