I just spotted some TDS5054B-NV-AV variant of the TDS5054, but after
some googling it seems I can't find any information about what that
NV-AV variant is about...

Anyone can shed some light on this ?

this has nothing to do with TDS5000 series...they dont use those option modules.

the method for unlocking options on TDS7000 series may very well work for TDS5000
you should look for that one in the same forum

Hi,

Miguel very kindly sent me his software for creating the option keys. I can't access the directions to use the software and don't know how it works. Does anyone have that handy? I just did the hardware upgrades and mine works much better. The work you folks did made my job easy.

Nope. Miguel sent a link that was suppoed to go to some posts on EEVblog, but they didn't work properly and I couldn't figure out how the software works.
