looking for a 7A22 V/div knob (366-1057-00)

Title says it practically all, I want to improve the usability of my 7A22 which has that knob broken.
Living in the Netherlands: European offers are preferred for the (probably) lower postage.
Please reply off list.

You be suprized postage for small stuff like a knob is not that high if it fits into a padded envelope.Normal mail is $1.15 so with a knob in it the extra weight might up to $ 2 or 3. RaySent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE device------ Original message------From: Leo PotjewijdDate: Sun, Aug 23, 2020 13:29To: TekScopes@groups.io;Cc: Subject:[TekScopes] looking for a 7A22 V/div knob (366-1057-00)Title says it practically all, I want to improve the usability of my 7A22 which has that knob broken.

Leo,
Isn't that the same as on a 7A18, 7A26 etc.? (ATM, I'm not where my collection is).
Are you talking about both the inner and outer knob?
If so, I have one for you free, to be picked up in Amsterdam.

Hi Leo and Raymond,

The same Knob (outer) is used on a 7S11 and 7A29.

Thanks for that, Egge Siert.
I've verified that the same outer knob fits my 7S11's, 7A22's, 7A26's and 7A29's (tried one sample of each...).
In their (my) respective SM's the knobs are specified as 366-1057-00 for the 7A22 and 366-1059-00 for the 7A26 and 7A29.
The inner knobs are different because the 7A26's and the like have a slot for gain adjustment, which the 7A22 and 7A29 don't.

Hi Raymond,

Google 366-1059-00. You will be surprised.

The "lookalike" Outer Knob on the 7A18(A) and 7A26 has as PN: 366-1299-00. Its bushing is different. There was some time ago a similar discussion of these Knobs.

You are right (of course), Egge Siert. I don't know how I came to my conclusion. AFAIR, I fitted the knobs because I know in some look-alike bushings, there's a difference between how deep they are set.
Thanks!

Really?
Nobody can or wants to part with one?

According to the RPR (page 144) this one is used in the 5L4N, 7A11, 7A14, 7A15, 7A16, 7A22, 7A29, 7J20, 7L12, 7L13, 7L14, 7S11 and 7S12 plugins.
And in 15 other instruments...

Leo,
I have several 7000-series parts-donor plug-ins, but none have that knob. I think the problem is that the items get dropped onto their front face and the knobs get shattered. Then, those parts-only plug-ins that have the knobs get pirated for them to repair the working plug-ins. You might occasionally see new ones on Qservice or Sphere. You have to be patient, sometimes. I wish I could help....
Colin.

Hi Colin,
I'm pretty sure I have one I can spare. I have to take the knob off one of my 7A22s to see if this knob fits the shaft and the middle knob fits into it.
