OT: Wavetek 801 pulse generator troubleshooting...

Greetings,
has anyone among this very knowledgeable group of propellerheads ever fixed the variable / 50 Ohms output of a Wavetek 801 pulse generator, please? The TTL and ECL/inverted ECL outputs are working fine after I have fixed the 801's 5.2 V supply. However, the 50 Ohms output stage loads the +/-18V supplies in a way which is well beyond specs. I have done some early checking such as measuring some diodes and most caps already, but I would much appreciate any friendly hint... Thanks in anticipation. Cheers, Magnus |
