As part of my 465 tear down experiment I got the CRT out today. What a fascinating and terrifying experience!

The good news is that it went off without a hitch. It's not complicated at all, and the opportunity to revel in the beauty of it was worth it in and of itself! I love how close ups of the cathode and plate section makes for abstract art.
