Extracting a buggered knob grubscrew
1.27 & 1.3 mm drivers... if they actually differ by 0.03 mm that would suggest goodness indeed.

Thanks again for the add'l info - and for taking the time to transcribe it. I've added it to TekWiki. Interesting that the timebase mode switch apparently differs between the doc & photographed units.

Thanks Håkan! From a look at your panorama of Tek gear, and fische reader, I should not be surprised that you have the manual! A few more questions: May I add that excerpt to TekWiki? Do you have any

5441 trials & tribulations
Just looking back through the last few months... So how did it go? Happy to see another 5441 getting back in the game.

5440 scope vertical creep/jitter (intermittent)
It doesn't matter than I can't help with your vertical because you've already solved that. I just popped in to say: congrats on your 5S14N acquisition! I hope your revival effort works out.

5441 Storage Scope Loss of +30VDC, -15V
Tim, I've changed the subject for this post. So maybe the 30V will be an easy "fix". tbd. Someone reported fixing a dead +15V rail in a 5440 with a new MJE800, so apparently they aren't invincible. ht

5111 Storage Scope Loss of -30VDC
No idea about the "stuff". Nor do I have a 5111 at hand to look at. Does the scope work with the storage board disconnected? I can't confirm, but I think it should.

Thank you, Mr. Little, for starting to fill in a blank spot on the map. At TekWiki I cleaned out the obsolete stub text and poor front panel image.

(seeing this a few weeks later) Glenn, Like DaveD says, lots of people here can help with TekWiki. Or you can ask kurt.harlem@... for a TekWiki account if you want to get into that yourself. Bac
