Vacuum forming 7K interface "covers"
If someone makes replacement parts maybe they can address the cause of failure. When the plugin is inserted they are often incorrectly slammed home with the plugin edge connector slightly misaligned.

The -50V supply depends on the +50 unregulated voltage. The 130 V supply also depends on a good +50 V. You might want to check the caps C808 and C809 that's where I found a bad cap when troubleshootin

Unusual TM5xx(x) MF - its not a TM500 or a TM5000
Aren't these referred to as TM502A, TM503A, etc? I have a TM503A and it also does not have a fan of course since it doesn't have the space in the bottom, as you mentioned, for air flow. Bob.

I agree with you on the age factor maybe not being the real issue. Many connector failures are due to just slamming the plugin into the mainframe. Unfortunately the plugin edge connectors don't always
