576 curve trace scope problem [1 Attachment]
There is another way, one that I considered a few years ago. That is, design a complete SMPS that output -3250 and +225, and completely eliminate the existing transformer circuit. As I recall about 15

2456B whole display moved up on the CRT
Does this affect all four channels? If so, I would suspect a problem in the vertical output, perhaps as simple as one of the CRT neck leads ha come off, or something in the vertical chain has failed.

2465 - impending U800 failure?
The first thing, always, is to check the power supply for voltage and ripple, and repair as required. But, the symptom you describe does sound like a failed U800, or, less likely, one of the horizonta

465 trace problem in upper left corner
The problem is that the dome mesh in the CRT has been damaged by loose debris. This is seen occasionally in a scope that has been drooped.

Later model Tektronix 4-channel 'scope
The 2456x series are great scopes! They can and do, break, sometimes requiring replacement of a Tek made custom part. All of these Tek parts are available, but you may not like the price. Having said

Tek 2755P service manual
Yes, the service manual is certainly detailed enough. For that matter, for the power supply module, you can use any 49x manual, the power supply didn't change much at all over time.

Tek 2755P service manual
Yes, the service manual is available, did you check Artek? The 2756 is quite similar, as is the readily available 494AP. What is the problem with it?

Tektronix 2465B, 155-0241-02/1, U800, Horz Amp Failure Modes
Victor, How is the die attached? Epoxy or eutectic? If the die attach was eutectic, there is no way for it to detach, unless very poorly done, a possibility. If it was epoxy, it could come loose by me

2465A Calibration question
The bad RAM probably killed the battery. I rarely see a dead battery on one of the A models, but I have replaced a couple of the RAM chips.

Help with a Tek 575 Curve tracer - New to group
A picture of the CRT trace would be very helpful. As the other post indicated, check the power supplies first for both regulation and ripple. Also, it is quite common to have poor and unmatched tubes

This is a very common problem. In my experience there is a 95% chance the Z-Axis hybrid has failed. I have replaced several.
