OT : How About A Group For "Other" ?
Dennis, it's amazing how many folks are misconstruing my intentions. I'm not suggesting that we splinter the group - I think there is quite a bit of power in having a single TekScopes group. The issue

Why would that be a bureaucratic nightmare? It's self managed by the users. Unless you can group images in some manner, you have a situation where you put things in a DB and they get lost. Having a se

Maybe we should have a group for each Tektronix instrument of interest where users from the main TekScopes group can post their albums. This would give some organization to the images allowing for a b

Hi Tony, Glad to hear that your PSU is functional. The diode that you are referring to is VR1297 (9V zener) right? Not CR1297? In regard to the Read Out, I believe that I read somewhere in the manual

Bob, thanks for the 155-0067-02 spec sheet and the Xref resources. They're very informative. Wish I had them 3 weeks ago! Best, John

Tony, does the value of 5V lights fall below 4.5V when you increase the load to the point that the PSU shuts off? 5V lights is monitored by the Inverter Control IC U1275. A fraction of the 5V lights v

Tony, did you do the Power Supply test on page 5-8 of the manual : Adjust Inverter Control R1293 for a meter reading on TP1625 of +40V? Maybe your operating point for the Inverter Controller is way of

Tony, If all you can draw is 100ma on 5v lights, you could have a problem with that power supply's pi section filter - I had to change C1318 to get my PSU up. It measured 40uf instead of 100uf. That c

Tony, have you tried putting the PSU back into the mainframe to see if it works in its normal load and interaction environment? You may be chasing the proverbial wild goose! :) Best, John tonycheung_h

Tony, 5v lights on mine has a 1.5 ohm load. The voltage was 4.5v - which, according to the manual, is at the lower end of the spec. My other voltages are in spec. John yahoo.com@groups.io> wrote:

Wow, Would never had thought of that. Thanks Fabio and Chuck. I see a pot in the vertical amplifier schematic labelled "RO vert cent" in the collector of the transistor. Maybe, I'll fuss with that - c

File Attachment Question
Unless you have a way to create meaningful metadata for each file/image that is put into the archive, then you won't be able to search and find anything in the archive. No one likes creating metadata.

If you have a Dropbox account you can create a folder, mark the folder shared, and create a link that you give in your email. It's pretty simple.Dropbox is free if you don't already have it.
