485 No Trace Puzzle
485 inverter probe OK, I see, it's like probing an SMPS circuit. Although I have an isolation transformer with isolated ground, it won't run 3 scopes simultaneously (The two 485s and the test scope).

Similar to Jerry's, I also built a homemade 7xxx extender using old PC ISA parts. Although less than elegant in appearance, it works. Note, I used a rather long hard drive cable. It has too many wires

If your 7603 is good otherwise, HV transformers are available, as Ebay 271043134636. (no connection to me). I got one and will sometime try it. Bob

P6015 Compensation question
Can a P6105 be compensated for a 465M? The manual says use the 100V calibration signal. The 465M label states 1V. My 7904 has a 40V selection. Still not 100V. Suggestions? Bob
