49xp 27xx extender boards??? Is there a need or supplier?
Norway Labs made extenders for the 49x SA's. I am not sure if they still have any, but give them a call next week at 503-924-5846.

Absurdly simple way to get contact cleaner into some Tek pots
An easier way with the modpot is to apply a drop on the red "square" on one side. It flows directly into the the track, sort of... Sometimes two applications are required.

What's the rubber pad under the 2465?
I saw the explanation for the rubber pad, I think on the VintageTek site, from an engineer on the 2465 project. The reason the pad was included was, there were incidents of the input attenuator cerami

WTB: Dead SD-22, 24 or 26 sampling heads
I don't know about the modules, but from the picture on tekwiki, the substrates are likely mounted with adhesive, and therefore virtually impossible to remove intact, especially in a complex assembly

Great! Calibrator risetime? Isn't the cal output specified at about 250ps? Both of my instrument measure it about 300ps.

Repairability of SD-24, SD-30 & SD-32 sampling heads
Yes, Luis has done great work! He is in South America I think. Ascertaining and sourcing the correct parts can be difficult.

These are thin film hybrid microcircuit assemblies. Easy enough to repair IF you have a well equipped hybrid lab and access to the right chips. Figuring out the correct parts, and then finding the die

TEK 2432A intermittent behaviour
The first thing always on these is to replace ALL the small electrolytic caps on the power supply board. These are 1980's scopes, and all the caps are past it. Get the power supply working right, then

Tektronix 2440 Cursor failure does not stop the selected line
The cursor keeps moving after the knob is released? If so, the spring wire "switch" on the outside of the control is dirty and not making connection. clean it.
