7B50 Trigger Level Issues
Ozan, I just received a rejection of what I think is the latest email I sent off-list to you. I don't know what's happening with my emails but wanted to let you know what's going on. I don't know why

Anyone Have a Peltola Socket?
Hi Dave, I don't know what's up with my ISP. One other list member has had difficulties emailing me directly but it's a bit erratic. My own posts have started going to my "Junk" folder as well as many

I'm in the process of troubleshooting a few things in my 7B50 and I notice the schematic shows a connection to the A15 pin of the rear connector and that connection is labeled EXTERNAL SINGLE SWEEP. I

I noticed the "little wings" on the Berg design and I didn't recall those being on the one I have. That's part of what prompted me to wonder if they were interchangeable. Thanks, Barry(who listened to

Opinion on 'scope selection
Jeff, I have a 2456B and I had to do the SMD repairs on it. I just wasn't sure about the 2465 and/or 2465A. Thanks, Barry - N4BUQ

Does the 2465 or 2465A have the leaky SMD caps on the A5 board? I can't remember which models in that line have that issue. Thanks, Barry - N4BUQ

Opinion on 'scope selection
I have several scopes including a 453 and a 465B. I like both but if it came down to only keeping one, I'd keep the 465B. Thanks, Barry - N4BUQ

Anyone Have a Peltola Socket?
They might be close and the Berg might work in the Peltola socket configuration and, possibly, vice-versa, but I'm seeing differences between the two. Berg: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/

Is the center socket for a Peltola socket the same as a minisert? I thought the miniserts are what was used for other component leads such as transistors, ICs, etc., and the Peltola is different but I

Have I blown up my scope??
I'd chalk it up to coincidence. The power supply boards have snubber networks consisting of C1018, R1018, C1016 and R1016 that are across the mains. Those caps are known to blow out and smoke like you
