Many thanks for the advice on how to remove the caps. It had never occurred to me to add solder. The Weller WTCP has three temperature range tips. I'm sure 600f doesn't make sense, but would you use 7

Thanks again, Tom I try to buy everything I can from Mouser, after all, they gave me a very nice catalog, and they fill my little, probably at a loss, orders without a whimper. They really are heroes.
