I once thought I would be an electrical engineer, but the siren song of computer science lured me away. I have dabbled in electronics on and off ever since high school, but the pandemic has given me a chance to revive my interest in the topic.
I have two old Tek scopes, inherited from my father, and I am trying to keep them running for sentimental reasons. One is a Tek 475 from 1974, the other is a 2213 from around 1981 or 82. They are both serviceable scopes, even today, though they have not been calibrated in decades, and are showing a few signs of degradation.
