IIRC, the 7603N can be converted to the 7603 by adding the readout board. Individual plugins cannot be N suffix, since that eliminates the readout generation capability. I don't ever remember

I have a Mil 7603 (waiting for inauguration in my lab). If I'm not mistaken, there's no DRO on them (but there's some mod to bring it back)? Also, maybe it's an illusion but the display looked smaller

Re: Tek plugin: PTB-100 Rb Freq. Standard, Precision Time Base, Ball Efratom
hi Ed,
Did you take any *photos* &/or *notes* of the 3 different PTB-100 Efratom devices that you had ?
If so, I am hoping you might deposit this information on the TekWiki for our edification.

Re: Sweep Generator with ramp output for use with Ocilloscope using XY settings.
The video is ok and all but I got one of those cheap sweep generators that go from 35MHz to 4.4GHz and the sweep function works well but the ramp has to synchronized with the sweep for it to work

Note that a large percentage of the Mil 7603s are 7603Ns.
I have a dozen or parts units I need to clean out in the next few months. I'll post here when I unearth them.

I am not really understanding your problem. You choose your own password; you don't get issued with one. If you are posting this message on the Tekscopes forum, then surely you _are_ logged in?

Re: Sweep Generator with ramp output for use with Ocilloscope using XY settings.
James:
I imagine that there are many circuits that could generate a ramp output similar to the ramp output (horizontal, x-axis) of a 1401A, but one simple circuit is presented in W2AEW's youtube
