Re: 7854 ROMs: the whole story
If you do that, then you must also replace the U400 and U410 EPROMs with
the -02 versions as well, and you must also remove your
rev -00 FPLA. You will end up with something that sort-of works

If I get passed this display board problem, I'll be replacing all of them with the patched images, since we know the ROMS are prone to failure. It's great for quick validation though.

Re: Schematic for Tek Custom ICs
Gary made a typo and is referring to the 7104, circuit board A14:
U232 and U432 are Tek 155-0173-00
U274, U474 and U492 are Tek 155-0175-00
Nothing on these on TekWiki AFAICS

Re: 7854 ROMs: the whole story
I am glad that you were able to fix your ROM board. It is also very nice that you
were able to preserve most of the original components, and only replace the
one IC that had actually failed. Success!

Re: Schematic for Tek Custom ICs
A 7401 would translate to a very slow non-store 7K with a single slot,
very uncommon indeed!
The chips you're looking for are 155-0173 -XX and 155-0175-XX.
I didn't find anything on them on TekWiki,

Re: Which type of transistor is SG503 Q190 151-0614-00?
Albert,
The TEK Cross ref list shows 151-0614-00 as something called a D156.
151-0474-00 equals MRF511
and
151-0474-01 equals 2N5947.

Hi!
I am interested in a working THS720 or THS730, with accessories and carrying case. Ideally, in Europe.
Please feel free to contact me off-list.

I just got this 30 year old EPROM reader up and running and was able to get data off all 4 mask ROMS. I diff'd them against what's on the Tek Wiki, and only saw differences on U210
