I'd like to point out that this in itself is a 'specious argument' that does not 'reflect the current state of affairs'. There are numerous valid arguments advanced here, and I have advanced a couple

Hi SnapDiode,
Tek made these for, among other things, their sales engineers to use when carrying a plugin to a customer's site.
Tek made them for many of their products.
They are extremely rare.

Readout pulsing at timebase rate
Hi All.
Turns out my ghosting of the readout onto the trace is more involved
than I thought.
My 200Mhz 2445B (serial B062351) has a problem with the readout
display. It is pulsing at the same rate

Re: what is this
Thanks, does it have a part number? I don't see this case in "Oscilloscopes Selecting and Restoring a Classic", or on tekwiki.
Was it a Tektronix part or third party?

This is a standard carry / shipping / storage case which could be used for any "standard" 500-series plug-ins.
These are just cases, therefore not powered ...etc. The later versions have a "nutsert"

Re: 7854 Bad display board
Right - that sounds like a set-up error on my part. I didn't think I even have the 0 bit set up in that group, but I must have made a mistake. I'm looking at addresses now, since I've only got 16

Re: 93 posts in 7 days about ESR meters IS THERE ANYTHING LEFT TO SAY?

"Check the power supply capacitors for ESR. A detailed discussion of
ESR measurement is off topic for TekScopes, but please see
