Yeah, that's the idea.
I'd be very surprised if EAROM failure manifested this way. I'd expect the scope to fail POST with 04-level errors, as there's checksumming over the EAROM contents.

Hi tinkerer. I try what you suggest, and the result was to see the characters for each channel etc. But when turn the channels back, character disappear and dot return back on its position.

EAROM, I have seen the ER1400 for sale on Ebay for reasonable prices.

I don't own a 3D printer, but that does sound enticing assuming there is base material available similar to rubber (I'd guess durometer 60 or so). Maybe the person you mention could make 335
