Re: In memory of Jim Williams, from EDN
Thank you to whomever posted the link to the Jim Williams history story!
The two Analogue Circuit Design EDN series books Jim put out are
wonderful, so see if you can get your hands on a copy of them

Re: In memory of Jim Williams, from EDN
It's a Tektronix current probe and amplifier, a less capable predecessor
of the AM503/A6302. I'll dig around in the catalogs to see if I can find
it...

Today I was given an SG504. It came without the head and since I already have two working SG504's I won't
bother fixing this one. It works fine with a working head so if anyone is interested in

Re: Tek 496 repair/calibration service or info
Kim
I think you and I talked privately about this a few weeks ago ...I see plenty of signals on my 496 with an external antenna
I would personally start with these folks if I needed a repair

Is there anyone here on the list that does repairs or

Re: P6302 vs A6302
I believe the only difference beside the nomenclature is that the A's have S/N.
Here's part of the the MSR from July 10, 81
//Two current probes are now designated base items and have full product

There is a lot less information available about them than the 49x series, which they share a lot of parts with. Dave at Artek Media can tell you if the
service information is available.
