Re: Ballantine Calibrator
Bruce,
I have used 2 ea. 6126M calibrators (which also use 2 Tek plug ins) for years, they have worked great, and are not hard to work on at all. These are very under-appreciated units, but really

Any kind of manual for this would be welcome, I can't find one.
It seems to be working well except for one odd thing, when I press Sore/Non-store,

Got a 7834 and a 7603 with the CRT display size changing intermittently. Since it is intermittent and I can't cause it or stop it beating or heating, I guess I need to let it (them) run and monitor

Re: 453 BUT maybe just Tek Paint related...
I’d give it a go with paint cutting paste. In the U.K. we call it G3. Used for polishing fresh paint after it’s been flatted with wet n dry.
Cheers

A convenient polish is kitchen and bath gel gloss -- just right for plastics and paint. Otherwise auto paint polishing compound.

When I press “Identify” the correct trace moves, but the one vertical line doesn’t change.
Yesterday, the trace stopped displaying fully

Re: Ballantine Calibrator
Found a site that claims to have a 2 volume set for the 6127B:

Also, KO4BB has the manual for the 6125A. I'm not sure if it will be of any

Re: Removing 7633 can caps
I did a partial recap of a 7633 once. You don't have to remove the transformer if I recall correctly. It makes it difficult to get to the caps in the middle, but if you plan on removing all of them,
