453 CRT removed from screen: photos

It's not about degaussing, it's a problem with losing the grain orientation that was imparted during annealing.
Annealing it is very difficult since the temperature is quite high - like approaching

Well, they certainly are not cheap. - But finding a flexible extender in the UK may be hit and miss. So making one becomes a more viable option than if they were readily available.
