Re: Tek 547 B intensified by A
Thanks for your response , I have tried this but it does not show an intensified brighter area, it does show the waveform as either all intensified or not

There is a tiny knob on the front panel by the Timebase B controls.
That needs adjusting fpr effect.

Barry, too high +5VL can be an issue since this is used in the balance sense against -17V. Albert.

Tek 547 B intensified by A
Hi there I am currently restoring a 547 and it almost all works … the delay time multiplier seems to work and in alt mode I get both waveforms but the region which is intensified is not any brighter

With readout control fully clockwise I suspect the readout is actually offset vertically because there is a faint brightness at very top of the crt (just out of the visible area). If you reduce

Roger,
Does that mean that the readout lines are actually positioned relative to the vertical center position? I'm a little surprised that top and bottom readout separation was not made a user

Re: Tek 7603 missing readout but present when beam finder pressed
There are two adjustments that affect the vertical position of the readout. R2291 on the readout board sets the vertical separation of the top and bottom readouts and R403 on the vertical amplifier

Tom,
I assume that by "magic toaster oven fab" you mean a device that takes CAD files in one end (along with some packaged raw material components) and spits out a fabricated chip on the other side.
