Re: 465 minor repairs
Here are the photos: https://groups.io/g/TekScopes/album?id=81158
It would also appear that the delay line is fully soldered to the board?

Re: 465B: Basic Restoration Tasks List For Long Life?
The attenuator and timebase cam switches should be cleaned with little strips
of bond paper soaked in isopropyl. That's a very fussy job, but I wouldn't
use anything else on them. The service manual

I strongly suggest you get Caig MCL or whatever it is called now - Moving Contact Lubricant. Faderlube is the new name I think.
De-Oxit *MAY* do damage to some carbon deposit controls.
Yes, Ideal

465B: Basic Restoration Tasks List For Long Life?
Hello all,
This is my first topic/post. I have a working 465B that I use often in my vintage audio hobby. It works OK, but I had to take it apart to lube the focus potentiometer and lever switch

Re: Tektronix 465 Fan Motor not working! Help!
Would it be possible to use a 3" computer fan mounted on the back of the scope?
The OEM motor and fan could be removed all-together and a computer fan mounted directly on the back plate to pull warm

External for multiple scopes.
7000 series scopes can be calibrated with plugins, and you end up
adjusting the plugin's gain (without knowing if it or the scope is

Re: 2213A recap & vertical jitter repair (attenuator fix)
Hmmmm... I'm going to check the attenuator modules in my flaky 7A26, 7A22, and 7S12. If all else fails, I can bring them into work, where we have higher power microscopes.
Say, anybody have 7000
