Re: 549 on Detroit Craigslist
I am sorely tempted, but I have too many projects right now and I have
to downsize in the near future as well.
Looks like a 1A4 plugin in it as well.
If someone is interested, I could pick it up and

Re: Triggering problem with TDS6604
Jim
I spend way to many hours hours checking out the trigger components until I noticed the main line going into the trigger IC
appeared to be quite thin so I checked the trace and found it was open.

Re: 549 on Detroit Craigslist
Ho Roy,
It's not as fast as the 547, probably more like a storage version of the 545. I used one for a while until I found a 547. It's a great performer but can have the HV transformer thermal

Paul,
I guess there is no premium for all the dust! (Seems to me that 20 minutes with windex and paper towels and a toothbrush would make it way more attractive!)

Could people please take the MacOS vs. Windows discussion to an
appropriate forum? It has nothing to do with Dennis's post, or
TekScopes.

I haven't seen the blue screen of death since XP died. Liked WIN7 better than WIN10 . I finally moved to 10 this summer glad I waited but the transition has been relatively painless

Jim
This may not help but I had the same problem with a TDS640. The problem was a trace on the
board which was to thin and failed. Worth a look.

Richard

True for me! My Macs work every time I start them, all day. I can't say that for PCs, even the ones I'm forced to use at work.
I started out with MS DOS and an IBM XT. Upgraded CPUs and motherboards
