Re: Anyone Have a Peltola Socket?

I noticed the "little wings" on the Berg design and I didn't recall those being on the one I have. That's part of what prompted me to wonder if they were interchangeable.

Thanks,

One more advantage of the Berg design is the silicone plug. It is moisture proof
and solder proof. That’s great for washing after soldering and limiting crud
after the wire is inserted.
Take care to remove all of the solder from the pcb hole. The Berg socket is
intended for machine insertion and has a feature for retention in the hole. It
is a snug fit. If the hole is too small or has excess solder, the little
retention “wings” will peel up and get sloppy.
