Explosion is not really an issue, if it was I think there would have been a few demolished QTH around in the TekScopes community

Not an issue, IMO. The amount of H2 is tiny.

BTW, this is, IMO, trying to guild a very unimportant lily. Just look at the
batteries every few months.
