This is my first topic/post. I have a working 465B that I use often in my vintage audio hobby. It works OK, but I had to take it apart to lube the focus potentiometer and lever switch contacts. I used a drop or two of DeOxit on the focus pot and it worked wonders!
I strongly suggest you get Caig MCL or whatever it is called now - Moving Contact Lubricant. Faderlube is the new name I think.
De-Oxit *MAY* do damage to some carbon deposit controls.
Same for the lever switch contacts. The switch levers are much easier to use now.
Yes, Ideal application for DeOxit. Metal to metal switch contacts/wipers.
