The input capacitance needs to be measured on the most sensitive, non-preamp attenuator setting, DC coupled.No problem if it's not exact, as long as the other ranges, and channels, can be adjusted to match it.The intent of this adjustment is to get in the ballpark so the recommended probes can be compensated, using the calibrator.
If a probe can be adjusted so it looks good on all sensitivities, & all channels, then your work is done.If it varies from the spec by 1-2 pf, that is not a problem.
