I am looking for any information about individual soldier equipment and clothing (quartermaster) weights.
My secondary interest is in tool sets and other army engineering and chemical corps equipment weights.

I am especially interested in early 1940s to late 1950s era which should be declassified by now.

Any books or documents that I should look at? Any army would be very helpful.
